Another fun filled weekend around these parts! Friday, we hosted a teaparty and the kiddos played dressup and had a lot of fun!

After that, we had to take a 2 hour nap! Bliss.
Then we went to my parent's house on Saturday afternoon and had a barbeque with the Deaver's. Joe and Sara came and the guys grilled totally fabby steaks! Yummy.

And Izzy enjoyed cherries!

More fun to come too! This weekend we're having a down weekend. Yeah, right. I just haven't filled up every second yet!
We had our house inspection on Friday. Our potential new house is in Edmonds and boasts an apple tree in the front yard, lots of square footage and a big back yard. Also, it has a great territorial view and even a deck! We're really excited to move in, but the inspection had to come first. The inspection passed, but the house needs a new roof and furnace. We'll see if the lady will get a new furnace before we move in since the one that's in there now is as old as the house-1968. Wowza!

The sunken tub in the main bathroom. Green, but sunken no less.

Phil, the inspector and David our Realtor checking out the electrical. All good!

The retro light fixture that I actually liked!

The view-mountains behind the clouds and a Christian school.

Moving out the plants. We're all moved out now. Bye Bye Starter House!
We went out to the lake house on Lake Limerick for GG's and Auntie Trish's birthdays. It was fun despite the fact that it was too cold to go swimming. Everyone except me and the kids went golfing on Saturday and Sunday! Phil shot horribly on Saturday, but the kids (although Zack is almost a teenager) and I did crafts!

We took all of my corks from all the wine I've opened over the years and made cork boards! It was fun too. They turned out pretty nice.

Ferry ride over to Bainbridge Island.

GG reading to Izzy!

Zack gluing on the corks for Auntie Trish's cork board.
Until next year! Cheers.
We're in the process of moving all the rest of our stuff into a storage unit. The third storage unit...and hopefully the last. We found a house that we loved, but then found out it sold three hours before we wanted to put an offer in. Then, yesterday we found another house that we love and we put an offer in! Check it out.

So I'm sad to be moving, but excited for what's ahead. We'll see if they accept our offer. We made a lot of concessions when we were the sellers because it's a buyers market. Now it's time for us to take advantage of this buyers market!
The house sold and we're homeless beginning 8/7/09!!! Woohoo!!! Pictures to come of our househunting exploits!
